Sung-chul, Hong

After graduating in sculpture from the University of Hongik, Hong studied a Masters at the California Institute of Arts. He works in the field of new media exploring the origin of art and the nature of life through digitalized images and analogical materials that create a sensation of optical illusion and stimulus in the mind of the modern spectator. The images interfere with each other, giving rise to new ones and defying the capacity of the human mind to recognize the objects.
