Kodama, Sachiko

Sachiko Kodama (Japan, 1970)

In 1993, after graduating in Physics from the University of Hokkaido Sachiko enrolled in the Department of Fine Arts at the University of Tsukuba, later receiving a Master in Art and Design from the same University.

In 2000, Sachiko began work on a ferrofluid project that she named “Protrude, Flow”.

Her work has been exhibited at ARS Electronica 2003; The National Museum of Fine Arts of Taiwan; the Metropolitan Museum of Photography of Tokyo; Wexner Center for the Arts, Columbus; Skirball Cultural Center, Los Ángeles; The National Art Centre, Tokyo; the Museo Nacional Reina Sofía, Madrid; and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo.
