Muchenberger, Ulrich

Born in 1995, in Basel, he originally found his medium in painting. Since 1994 he is concerned with the phenomena of light and its extension. In 1995 he installed a sea of lights on a lake “Elisabethufer for Credit of Art Basel”. In the 1990s he designed scenery and illumination in the “Goetheanum of Dornach”. In 1996 he projected a lighting project in the National Museum and created the illumination design for the final phase of Copenhagen as Cultural Capital of Europe. His public works can be found at “Ackermannshof” and in the “Unternehmen Mitte Basilea”. He has exhibited at Karin Sutter Gallery in Basel and in the DS Gallery of Saint Petersburg.
