The work of Hong Sung-chul is characterised by the use of new media to create artworks with three dimensional effects on a gran scale. Just as in his series of pieces that recreated fragments of the human body with the effect of a set of elastic ropes on different planes, in “Untitled” the participation of the spectator is once again essential in order to “activate” the volume of the piece.
